Hi everyone,
Obviously not the news we were after today – lockdown extended until 11:59pm on the 2nd September, with the addition of the curfew from 9pm-5am as well.
We want nothing more than to be able to get out onto our netball courts together again but we will unfortunately have to wait just that little bit longer again.
The CDNA Committee are meeting tomorrow night (17/8) to discuss everything, including possible options for the rest of the year. I will update you all soon after with any new developments.
In the meantime, please connect with your members and keep them feeling included and valued. Every single member (including you!) is so important and needs to know that. I have attached the document I sent a few lockdowns ago (reproduced below), with some suggestions of different types of ways to keep people engaged and supported. Don’t forget the free Sharni Layton book discussion on Wednesday night too!
If you need anything at all, please don’t hesitate to yell out. Otherwise stay safe, stay at home and stay connected. Please take care of
yourselves and each other.
Kind regards,
Penny Forrest
