Important steps must be taken by all potential scorers for the respective team managers to be able to allocate scoring duty via the Netball Connect App - see slide images below:-
Team Managers have been set up as Managers via the Netball Connect Admin system, therefore you should now all have a tile on your Netball Connect App for the next two rounds of games that you are managing. (See attached screenshots 1 and 2 for me as Team Manager of Flames. You will note it has scorer information at the bottom of our Round 2 game but not our Round 1 Flames game because we are not the Home team. This means you cannot allocate scoring duty via the app and will still need to provide the scoring roster to parents via WhatsApp or however you previously communicated this information).
Presumably you just click on the scorer box at the bottom of the tile. It will let you choose to score the game yourself or assign a scorer.
At this stage it looks like you can only allocate to a player as we haven't seen any parents listed but this might be something which will become clearer as more users login see the images above for parents to be visible for team managers to assign scorers but you should be able to allocate to the player and hopefully the parent will then be able to receive and accept the allocation (see CDNA's screen shots below regarding parents signing up to the app as more than a spectator).
When the allocated scorer accepts, they click on that game tile on match day. They need to select all the players who are playing on the day. The date and time on the App will automatically start the scoring at the designated start time (even if they blow the starting whistle at the actual courts 30 seconds different). From there, instructions are in the attached document.
