CDNA - Return to Play (Training Only)
Following council approval CDNA has announced that teams are allowed to return to training with restrictions around number of players,
entry and exit points (see below) and a temporary training roster.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:
- Please ensure ALL teams know which court they are on at which time
-
No Contact - training is to be regarded as a chance to catch up and to start fitness-type activity, not hard core drills. Minimise the use
of equipment as much as possible as each item must be cleaned after each session
-
All teams to have their own first aid kit as access to the Pavilion is not available (same goes for inside toilet, only outside council
toilet available - go before you leave home people)
-
Participants to use hand sanitiser before and after session. CDNA says they will supply each team with their own hand sanitiser plus have
sanitising stations plus their COVID officer on hand, however, they won't be there for every training timeslot I would imagine
- Maximum of 20 attendees plus coach and one other necessary person allowed per court (absolutely no spectators)
- A record must be kept of attendees at each training session
-
Training times limited to 45 minutes with a 30 minute break between (this break has been amended since to being staggered start times)
-
NO swapping of personnel between groups - no sharing of courts, or equipment. Therefore a coach will not be able to train with 2 teams
simultaneously. There must be sufficient time (20 mins between sessions) to clean down (antibacterial wipe or spray hand sanitiser) balls
(cones discourage - use chalk if need be) and other equipment - no sharing of courts 10 maximum applies. Should a ball roll onto your
court, you are to kick it back, not pick it up to return it
- No bibs - training dress/outfit to be washed between use
-
A map will be posted to show entry/exit from courts, please abide by this as closely as possible - no warm up laps of the 10 courts of
course
-
The current training court roster will be used as closely as possible (within the new timeframes). There is a possibility of getting a
training time on Saturdays during June while there are no games
- Training is on a strictly voluntary basis, individuals can choose not to participate without consequence
- Anyone not feeling well should not attend
-
There is to be NO changing of courts, times or teams. CDNA's COVID Safety Officers will have a list of the teams on each court and will be
moving around confirming everyone is in the right place at the right time
- Netball Victoria have confirmed that 20 participants per court (plus coach) is allowed.
- There is still no match play, no 1:1 drills, no contact and the 1.5 metre distancing must still be adhered to
-
You will notice there are some staggered starting times. This is to help keep some normality with teams and also to help lessen the amount
of people arriving at the same time
- CDNA will work out how to hand out the bottle of sanitiser we are providing per team and let you know
-
Please follow the diagram with the entry/exit points. Please
ensure every team member knows which way they are required to enter and exit
-
If I have missed anything, you would like to change something or you no longer need a particular court, please let me know ASAP so I can
change it before we start
-
This roster and the court lighting will commence on Monday 8th June. (Rep teams are starting on the 1st
June, one week before clubs)
-
Please remember that all participants must not arrive more than 15 minutes before training and leave no more than 10 minutes
afterwards
-
Don’t forget all of the hygiene protocols that must be in place (sanitise ball, space out drink bottles, no high 5’s etc etc)
-
This is a temporary training roster that will stay in place until further restrictions ease or our competition can commence
again. Once competition starts again, the original roster will come back into effect.
According to the CDNA roster at this time the following teams are rostered for training times. As the court times are reduced please
