Round 1 = Pride Round
Reminder that Round 1 of Spring 2024 is Pride Round. Pride Round is to promote inclusivity and raise awareness at CDNA for LGBQTI+ people and to subsequently help increase participation. Population statistics show that up to 15% of the population identify as LGBQTI+, but around 50% of those people are not always confident sharing this with their sporting peers because they worry that it will change how they are treated. This means up to a possible 340 people within the CDNA Community. We want to make sure we create, foster and remain a positive, inclusive and diverse community where everybody feels welcome. We will be celebrating the day with decorations and rainbow goal posts, and many other things, including yummy finger buns! We are encouraging clubs and members to wear a splash of rainbow on both days, be it hair
ribbons, socks, bibs, sweatbands etc. We look forward to seeing you all at Pride Round
Friday 26/07 or Saturday 28/07
